Available resolutions and the 1080p limit
This downloader supports 360p, 480p, 720p and 1080p where the source provides them. It does not output 4K files. Choose 1080p for the highest selectable video quality.
Quality-first intent
Start with 1080p for public HD videos and use lower qualities when file size, format availability or source delivery requires it.
Downloading from a 4K source
A 4K source may also offer lower-resolution versions. This tool can prepare a supported version up to 1080p; it does not retain the source's 4K resolution.
Fallbacks that help
When the highest quality is unavailable, users can retry at 720p, 480p, 360p or audio rather than getting stuck in a loader.
If your download does not start
Check that the video is public and still available on YouTube. Try a lower quality if the selected format fails. Private, removed, live or region-restricted videos may not be supported. Current limits are 30 minutes and 500 MB per download.
Save the file before the link expires
Prepared links are temporary. If a link expires, paste the original video URL again to prepare a new one. On a phone, check your browser downloads or Files app for the saved MP4 or M4A file.
Only process content you own, have permission to use, or are legally allowed to access. Downloading a file does not grant permission to republish it.
